Peter Curtis is a finance industry veteran and founding Director of Newcophill. With almost four decades of experience — including fifteen years at Deutsche Bank — Peter excels in capital raising and corporate finance. Over two decades he has founded and managed various enterprises, and currently serves as Newcophill's Chairman and COO. A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Peter brings extensive leadership and commercial knowledge to the company.

Ian Galloway brings over 30 years of expertise across both the technical and financial aspects of the resource sector. His career evolved from geophysics to analysing resource companies and commodities, including a background in funds management at Macquarie Bank. Ian's notable achievements include establishing the Independent Asset Management Resource Fund. His geophysics background and financial acumen make him a highly valuable member of the Newcophill board.

Shaun Giacomo is Managing Director of CNM, an independent advisory based in Brisbane, Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Economic Geology) from James Cook University and post-graduate studies in Mineral Economics from Macquarie University, along with a qualification in Investor Relations from AIRA. A media-trained analyst, Mr Giacomo has made regular appearances on Bloomberg, Channel News Asia, CNN, ABC, and international newswire services.
CNM provides technical and financial services including project analysis, report writing, business development, and investor and corporate relations. CNM has executed investor road shows and fund raisings across Australia, Asia, the Americas, and Europe, and undertakes expert geological reports for IPOs. Recent client engagements have included supervision of resource and metallurgical drilling programs in PGMs and gold.
Mr Giacomo has held senior roles at COO and CEO level for listed and unlisted companies, including uranium explorer UXA Resources Ltd and rare earths company Hastings Rare Metals. He served as Non-Executive Technical Director of UXA and Non-Executive Director of Vietnam Resource Investments (VRI), a Luxembourg-listed Mining Investment Fund.
He held the role of Deputy Head, Regional Asian Equities at Société Générale Asset Management in Singapore from January 2005 to June 2010, with primary responsibility for Australian investments across all stocks and sectors, commodities analysis, and joint management of the Vietnam and Indian funds.
Prior to SGAM, Mr Giacomo spent eight years with UBS Investment Bank, Sydney, as a senior sell-side equity analyst at Director level in the mining, metals, oil and gas division — consistently rated among the top analysts in his sector by BRW and Greenwich surveys of institutional investors. Before entering finance, he spent ten years in the mining industry across grass-roots exploration, mining, resource estimation, and corporate roles with Plutonic Resources, one of Australia's most successful top-10 listed gold producers.
